I am a Clinical and Sports Psychologist, a University Professor, and a PhD Finalist in Psychology (related to Cognitive Neuroscience). My career is built on the conviction that psychology and neuroscience still has much to say, regarding their potential to transform the world and society. I am driven by a relentless curiosity to explore the mental processes that underpin human behavior and emotion, but my true passion lies in applying that knowledge where it matters most.
My professional identity is defined by a "work-hard" mindset: flexible, rigorous, and analytically sharp. I don’t just deliver academic lectures or clinical interventions; I develop ideas that drive progress. My trajectory is a testament to this: from leading the psychological department of a professional Spanish Second Division football team during high-pressure periods, to founding my own leading psychology practice in Madrid. I have learned that true excellence is found in the balance between scientific rigor and the human ability to lead, adapt, and empathize.
I don't just study human potential; I work every day to unlock it—within my patients, my students, and the elite athletes and high-performance teams I have coached across diverse discipline, including football, golf and rugby. My goal is to bring this blend of academic depth and "on-the-ground" resilience to the UAE, contributing to a future where mental health, high-performance psychology and neuroscience become global benchmarks of excellence within the country.

Why the UAE?
My choice of the United Arab Emirates is a deliberate, strategic, and long-term commitment. For the past two years, I have been meticulously preparing for this transition, focusing my energy on becoming a high-value asset for the nation’s academic and scientific landscape.
Early in 2025, I traveled to the UAE with a clear purpose: to confirm that this was the place where I wanted to build my future. Despite having active opportunities in the UK and Spain, that visit solidified my conviction. I recognized the Emirates as the new global epicenter of innovation—the 'New World' where the future is being designed today.
I am now moving with my family (which I hope to continue growing there) to make the UAE our permanent home. My commitment remains steadfast, even in the face of current regional challenges, because I believe in the country’s resilience and its vision. My goal is twofold: to lead cutting-edge research in both Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Psychology, and to deliver world-class instruction in these fields. I am eager to help position the UAE at the absolute forefront of global science, not just by being part of its future, but by actively helping to build it.
